The year 1999 carries so much importance to me. After spending nearly a decade working
in the restaurant business, 1999 was the year I branched out on my own and opened
Sebastiani’s with the help of many dear friends and family.
|
|
|
|
It was also the year that my son Sebastian was born.
|
|
|
|
In the hustle and bustle of the busy world, the importance of breaking bread with
those you love gets lost. Growing up in Peru, my family would sit down each night
around the dinner table and share our thoughts.
|
|
|
|
I created Sebastiani’s because I wanted a place where people could come together
over great food and wine. My sister Maricarmen and I are blessed with many dear
friends who made Sebastiani’s their home and given us a chance to grow together.
|
|
|
|
Of course it hasn’t been easy. There was many times when I struggled to keep
Sebastiani’s open without losing the intimate feel that separates us from
bigger restaurants.
|
|
|
|
Through the good the bad times, I maintained my commitment to using only the freshest
ingredients in all our foods. From succulent garlic that transforms our marinara
sauces, to the delicate spinach leaves and herbs found in each dish, we refuse to
use anything but the best.
|

|
|
Our dedication has paid off. After 10 years at our Huntington Beach location we are proud to announce the opening of Sebastiani's Wine Bar, located adjacent to the restaurant.
|
|
|
|
Keeping with the tradition we've made at the restaurant through all these years with a menu that's full of traditional Italian dishes and modern cuisines, our wine bar offers a full variety of boutique and hard to fine wines, accompanied with a tantalizing menu of tapas to choose from.
|
|
|
|
The Wine Bar is now host to our monthly wine dinners allowing us to keep the restaurant open for daily business but we've also added many events that are growing with popularity throughout each month, for example: Beer Tasting, Ladie's Night Out, Blind Taste, Cooking Class. Of course don't forget our live music every Friday and Saturday night!
